School Counseling

Brentwood High School’s counseling program is dedicated to supporting every student’s academic success, personal well-being and preparation for life after graduation. Our school counseling team partners with students and families throughout high school to help them navigate important decisions, plan ahead and make the most of their Brentwood experience.

Together, the team guides students through course selection, graduation planning and the exploration of college, career and other postsecondary pathways. Through classroom lessons, individualized conversations and ongoing support, students learn more about their strengths, interests and goals, and they develop personalized plans that connect their high school coursework to future aspirations.

In addition to academic and career guidance, the counseling team provides social and emotional support for all students. The school counselor serves as a confidential advocate, offering a safe space to talk through challenges, build problem-solving skills and connect with resources that promote well-being. The team also collaborates closely with teachers, families and support staff to ensure each student feels known, supported and ready to succeed.

This comprehensive approach empowers students to grow with confidence, make informed choices and graduate prepared for the pathways ahead.
