Transcript Requests for Current Students

Transcripts may be requested for current students through the Common Application or Scoir. Please visit the College and Career section of our website for more detailed information. Students may contact Emily Diaz or Trista Lewis if they are unsure of their log in information.

Transcripts and Academic Records for Alumni and Former Students

Students who have graduated or withdrawn from Brentwood High School may request transcripts and academic records by completing the Transcripts and Academic Records Request Form. This from may be  delivered, mailed or emailed to:

Requests are processed Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

If you are unable to download the Transcripts and Academic Records Request Form, you may send a written request to the address above with the following information:

• Name as it appears on school records
• Date of birth
• School last attended or school of graduation
• Year of graduation or year last attended
• Address where the transcript or records should be mailed
• Phone number where you may be contacted
• Signature of the individual making the request

Diplomas

If you have lost or misplaced your diploma, we are unable to issue a replacement diploma. A graduation verification letter can be written as a substitute for a replacement diploma at no cost to you. The letter will include your name and date of birth, as well as state that you have completed all academic courses and credit requirements to earn a diploma from Brentwood High School. Your graduation date will also be included in the letter.

If you never received your diploma, please contact the Brentwood High School counseling office.

Student Skills Necessary for Success in Virtual Courses

• Student has demonstrated time-management skills that indicate the student is capable of submitting assignment and completing course requirements without reminders.
• Student has demonstrated persistence in overcoming obstacles and willingness to seek assistance when needed.
• Student has demonstrated verbal or written communication skills that would allow the student to succeed in an environment where the instructor may not provide nonverbal cues to support the student’s understanding.
• Student has the necessary computer or technical skills to succeed in a virtual course.
• Student has access to technology resources to participate in a virtual course.
• Consideration of the student’s previous success (or struggle) in virtual coursework.

The Brentwood School District has partnered with Launch, a virtual academy that offers students quality online learning options at no cost to families. Launch courses meet both individual student needs and the need of our district to provide virtual course options to students. 

Requests to enroll in courses currently offered at Brentwood High School will be reviewed by the High School Administrative Team for approval.  Detailed information about the Launch Program can be found at  www.fueledbylaunch.com

Brentwood High School students have the opportunity to enroll in the following virtual school courses: 

Brentwood High School offers several College Credit Courses through the University of Missouri - St. Louis (UMSL), St. Louis Community College (STLCC), Lindenwood University, the Advanced Placement (AP) Program, the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Program, and select Launch classes.

Cost, Academic Eligibility, and Registration Information

• Juniors and seniors must have a 3.0 GPA in order to automatically participate in the UMSL Advanced Credit Program; students who have a 2.5 GPA can still participate with special permissions; students can find registration and cost information online at https://www.umsl.edu/continuinged/acp/register.html. 

• Seniors and juniors with a 2.5 GPA or higher or sophomores with a 3.0 GPA or higher can participate in the STLCC dual credit program; students must also meet reading proficiency requirements (students can meet this requirement by earning an A in their last semester of English or a B in their last two semesters of English or an ACT reading score of 18 or higher; students who do not meet reading proficiency based on these criteria should talk to their College and Career Advisor about other options). Students can find registration and cost information online at https://stlcc.edu/admissions/apply-to-stlcc/dual-credit.aspx. Students who qualify for the Jumpstart Scholarship at STLCC can take up to 6 credit hours of dual credit each semester for free. The Jumpstart Scholarship is automatically awarded to students who have a 2.6 GPA or higher and who are free/reduced lunch eligible. STUDENTS MUST APPLY AND QUALIFY FOR THE FREE/REDUCED LUNCH PROGRAM BY THE STLCC DUAL CREDIT REGISTRATION DEADLINE.

• Students must have a 3.0 GPA in order to receive dual credit through Lindenwood University; in addition, students who are in the 10th grade, also need a signed letter of recommendation from their principal/counselor and written permission from a parent or legal guardian. The student must complete the Early College Start application for admission, which can be found on Lindenwood’s Early College Start webpage: https://www.lindenwood.edu/policies/list/early-college-start-ecs/. 

• Students enrolled in dual credit through UMSL, STLCC, Lindenwood or another approved Missouri college or university can apply for a scholarship through the Missouri Department of Higher Education. For more information on the application, requirements, and deadlines for each semester, visit https://dhewd.mo.gov/ppc/grants/dcdeforstudents.htm. 

• For BHS classes that offer multiple college credit options, only register for one--either through UMSL or STLCC, not both for the same HS course. 

• Fees associated with the AP, PLTW, and Launch college credit programs will vary. Students should refer to the appropriate websites. 

• Cost, academic eligibility, and registration information is subject to change by the partner colleges; always check with our partner colleges for the most up-to-date and accurate information

Student Responsibility for Transfer of Dual Credit:
Per the BHS Course Enrollment Guide, it is the responsibility of the student to inquire about the acceptance of transferring dual credits to colleges they may wish to attend upon graduation. Students must inquire directly with colleges and/or universities which are being considered. 

Once a student has graduated from Brentwood, the student will need to contact the registrar's office at the UMSL, STLCC, or Lindenwood (depending on which courses were taken) and have a transcript sent to the college they will attend.)

**CORE 42: CORE 42 is a framework for general education that all Missouri public two-and four-year institutions of higher education adopted effective for the 2018-2019 academic year. The goal of the CORE 42 is to facilitate the seamless transfer of academic credits. The completion of the CORE 42 at any public institution of higher education will transfer to every other public institution of higher education in the state and substitute for the receiving institution’s general education requirement. Individual courses that comprise the CORE 42 are guaranteed to transfer one-to-one among all public (and participating independent) colleges and universities in Missouri. Please note that just because a course is not part of CORE 42 does not mean it will not transfer; the majority of college credit classes will transfer, but it is the student’s responsibility to research transferability.
